Pre-Columbian, Mayan and Aztec Art Project Students researched Pre-Columbian, Mayan and Aztec Art and furthered their studies by a trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Working with techniques from this time period students created vessels, pottery and artifacts that inspired by their research. Upon presenting their completed work they explained the historical and cultural significance in their pieces. These samples are from a course that rendered college credit from Bard College.
