The Lunch Box Challenge brings awareness and comments on contemporary food issues. Each students was given a lunch box to redesign. Their design had to comment on a contemporary food issue. Some areas that students chose to research include: food biotechnology, obesity crisis, factory farming, farm issues, fast food, fasting & hunger strikes, food advertising & children, fast food, food safety, eating: (diets, habits, phobias, disorders), globalization of food, and school lunch reform.
Students presented their Lunch Box Designs and brought awareness to contemporary issues in the food industry during Arts Night. This project was made possible with donations from Material For The Arts.
