Technology Lesson – Designing a Desktop Organizer

Students designed these desktop organizers. They first manually made technical drawing that included measurements for the length, width, heigh and depth of each individual part. Afterwards each individual piece was rendered with a computer program called Inventor. All the parts were assembled to create the entire desktop organizer. The design was then animated. Students who completed the coursework successfully received college credit from Rochester Institute of Technology.
